2024 STORAGE AND DRYING POLICIES FOR BURTONVIEW COOP
- CORN
- All corn grade factors, including moisture, will be load by load.
- Farm stored grain delivered after Jan 1st 2025 will be averaged by farm, and must be sold or placed into storage after 5 days.
- ALL CORN NOT CONTRACTED FOR FALL DELIVERY WILL HAVE UNTIL FRIDAY BY 12:00 PM DURING HARVEST TO EITHER BE SOLD OR STORED
- Storage Rate- minimum rate .22/bushel through 01-01-25 which is billed and due by 1-01-25. Storage is then accrued on a daily rate of $.04 bu. per month
- Price Later is $.16/bu. to 1/1/2025, $.04 bu. per month thereafter accrued daily
- Drying Rate- From 14.1-15.0= $.03/ point 15.1-20.0 = $.04/point 20.1-30 = $.03/point 30.1- above = $.04/point All drying will be split on half points
- Shrink- Wet corn will be shrunk at a rate of 1.4% per 1% removed
- Corn sold for harvest delivery or price later is shrunk and dried to 15%
- Corn delivered for storage will be shrunk and dried to 14%
- SOYBEANS
- All soybean grade factors, including moisture, will be load by load.
- Farm stored grain delivered after Jan. 1st 2025 will be averaged by farm, and must be sold or placed into storage after 5 days.
- ALL SOYBEANS NOT CONTRACTED FOR FALL DELIVERY WILL HAVE UNTIL FRIDAY BY 12:00 PM DURING HARVEST TO EITHER BE SOLD OR STORED.
- Storage Rate- minimum rate .24/bushel through 01-01-25, which is billed and due by 1-01-25.Storage is then accrued on a daily rate of $.04 bu. per month
- Price Later is $.18/bu. to 1/1/2025, $.04/bu. per month thereafter accrued daily
- Shrink- ALL BEANS OVER 13% WILL BE SHRUNK 1.4% PER HALF POINT
- All Bean Loads over 15.0% subject to rejection on delivery

- Billings and Divides: Please have driver inform scale master on the proper billing on each load. Very Important: If you have first-time divides or changes from prior year, please inform office prior to harvest.
